So, my question to you this fine Friday is: which are the books that, while you're reading them, you wished they'd never end? Subquestion: which book would you actually like to live in?

No response!

I'll answer you, I wished Lord of the Rings was as long as War and Peace.
And I would live quite happily in Hornblower.

That's tough.
As a younger child, I would have liked to have lived as a member of the Atreides family in Dune. The 12 yr old that now resides within views Bank's Culture as the totally perfect situation. I never want his books to end.

I'd love to live in the Culture, but I'd want to work for SC. :-)
