Conversations with The Beanlette
LB has been off school today, sicky.

I got home from work to find her in her jammies, watching TV with 'nuggly. She curled up on my lap as the gymnastics came on.

I asked her if she wanted to watch it, and she nodded.

Me: LB, do you think you'd like to do gymnastics one day?

She turned and looked at me with tired eyes, then shook her head.

I asked why not.

LB: It looks a bit... tricky.

fair point.

This is why I love the Brits. They sound smart from birth. British kids say things in the most understated and mature way.

H also loves to watch gymnastics and agrees wholeheartedly with LB (and thinks LB is a smart and cute beanlette for saying so).
