books for bricks

text lifted from redatt's LJ to save me typing:

As some of you may know orinoco77 and livi_short having bee having a really, really stressful time of lately. In a nutshell: some people did some shoddy work outside their home which lead to the worsening of a known structural problem inside their home and discovery of others. Previously they'd thought they had time to budget for and fix this problem, but now they are in danger of having their home quite literally fall down.

They have help, especially with the practical stuff, from relatives and friends and their local MP, and some work has been done to shore up their home in the short term. In long term they will hopefully win compensation which will [help] cover their repair costs, but those repairs need to be done now.

And that's were we come in.

At the moment they are trying to raise some extra cash by selling more copies of orinoco77's book Sir Parsley and the Dragon and Other Stories. By way of endorsement: if I recall correctly this book came about at least partly at the request of his friends so that they could more easily share Adam's fun and amusing rhymes with their children. Maybe like me you have or know some small people who like fun and amusing rhymes, too, or you know others who might be interested.
