it's just one of those weird things - she's spent so much time on other names, to throw in 'death eater' is... odd. I'm guessing there's something behind it, and I'd love to know what it is.

Exactly. It sounds scary, but it doesn't make any sense.

We all eat dead things- dead animals, dead plants. Eating live things would be really gross.
